Silvana is a very creative visual artist who produces glass ware of exceptional quality and creativity at her Perth Hills studio. She is a warm and patient instructor who competently guides you in the process of creating your own glass pieces.

The Cheeditha Art Group ladies travelled down from Roebourne to participate in a weeklong glass art residency with Silvana at her studio. Over the course of the week the artists were introduced to the practice of glass making through a series of skills and knowledge based workshops, and produced several exquisite and unique glass objects to take home to Roebourne. Silvana was an incredible educator, patient, organised, professional and kind. Thank you, Silvana, for sharing your skills, knowledge and passion for glass, and for creating such a special, safe, rich and creative environment for the artists to explore the magic of glass art.

I thoroughly enjoyed my session with Silvana, not just the chance to learn a new technique but also to see Silvana's set up and workshop. Silvana was very patient and happy to help correct mistakes. I feel very inspired to create my own boiled glass now!

I recently completed a beginners glass workshop with Silvana. I thoroughly recommend it for anyone interested in this form of glass art. Silvana was warm and welcoming, and very patient when explaining the process, working on the design and choosing colours. Her studio and gardens are beautiful, very inspiring. The time flew by. In our workshop with Silvana, learning and experimenting with the properties of glass is an exciting way to make art and tell stories. Silvana is so professional, her knowledge is endless and she is so generous in sharing. Our artists got so much out of the workshop and are inspired to keep working with glass.
